Monsignor Patrick E. Brown has become the target of the wrath of the courts of jurisdiction and law in New Jersey. This is because the young and respected pastor has been sentenced for imprisonment and home confinement for tax evasion. This is indeed a serious offence and it has puzzled and thunderstruck people who have known Brown well for a long time. This is because Msgr. Brown has been reputed for his good pastoral works in New Jersey and the rest of the country as well. After all, he was not just a regular priest. He had impressive credentials as a member of the Parish.

Nearing now the age of 60 years, Brown has earned the esteem of being a major parish priest for the public in New Jersey. He earned extraordinary educational qualifications and achievements. He first inculcated an interest in the subjects of religious philosophy and theology. This meant that he became interested in pastoral works right from the start. Such interest and educational qualifications gave Patrick E. Brown a definite edge over the other candidates. Soon, from 1978 onwards, he has become a special member in the Parish. His priest became quite at the forefront for the community’s social activities and welfare initiatives.

In 1978, he also made the transition from Vatican to New Jersey. He soon based himself in the county known as Stirling. In this district, he made himself quite popular as a benevolent priest and became known for his pastoral reforms. He has helped to provide the reforms to a number of counties other than Stirling. He has helped St. Vincent de Paul Parish in reaching out to the needy people in the whole state of New Jersey. After 14 years of first-hand experience of working for the people, he was selected as the main Pastor in this Parish of New Jersey.

However, that accomplishment left him with a serious responsibility. This was the responsibility of transferring the collected funds and donations to the rightful benefactors. This gave him powers that would be soon misused. Patrick E. Brown was found to misappropriate the funds collected to his own account. He used the supposed charitable funds for his own private expenses and luxuries. He was soon caught in such a terrible offence. Now his hard-earned reputation is in threat of being shattered to smithereens. So, maybe, all his hard work is going to waste.

Mexican food is more than popular in the United States. In our country time is priceless, which is the reason why we are used to fast food, and often, Mexican. Del Taco and Taco Bell might be the most important Mexican chains of fast food, however there’s many more. When we go to get this food, we read the menu, where a lot of words are in Spanish. Also, we interact with the Spanish speaking clerk. Note how Spanish is present in our “food life”. Some students like to grab a bite at Del Taco after taking Spanish classes in New York.

Movies & Entertainment

Some of our favorite actors and actresses are Hispanic too. We might find movies of them in English and also in Spanish, or even more, they sometimes slip a word in Spanish during a movie in English. They are more thanweknow: Andy Garcia (Cuba), Salma Hayek (Mexico), Penelope Cruz (Spain), Antonio Banderas (Spain), Benicio del Toro (Puerto Rico), Javier Bardem (Spain), Joaquin Phoenix (Puerto Rico), etc.

Our Computers and Phones

Well, Spanish might not be present on a daily basis when it comes to Internet, but it is within one arm’s reach if you want to. Did you know that you can listen to lectures and short stories by professors using iTunes U? Yes, the American’s favorite computer and phone brand also features audiobooks, books, apps and more stuff in Spanish as well.

Taking Spanish classes in Dallas is certainly opportune since there is no city in the United States where Hispanic influence is felt greater than in Dallas. It is the second city with the largest Hispanic population right after New York. It seems like a perfect environment to learn the language.

Students can see which group member has added the notes as a colour coded bar, containing their initials, appears on the right of the screen. If all the team are working at the same time then the sync speed is increased to make it possible to see what’s being changed in (almost) real time.
Schedule in a realistic timetable and set realistic target dates for each aspect of the project to be completed. Arrange regular meetings where ideas and problems can be shared and to keep the project on track. When setting target dates, always leave a ‘cushion’ at the end of the project before the deadline hand-in date. This helps to avoid unnecessary stress if the project isn’t quite complete.
Keep in touch with your group on a regular basis so that you can get a hint if something is not moving forward at the pace you feel is necessary. Liaising by email or phone is a good way to build a rapport with your team and to make sure everything is on track.
